Learning to drive on The ENGLISH RIVIERA

RESIDENTIAL DRIVING TUITION

Mobility is important to all of us and now that we have reached the 21st century, almost everyone either wants or needs to learn to drive.  The conventional way to learn to drive has always been to have regular driving lessons every week.  For many people this is still going to be the best option as it allows the cost of driving lessons to be spread over a greater length of time.  It also allows for the more gradual absorption of learning and practising the new skills.  However, there is another way…

Nowadays, it is becoming increasingly popular for new drivers to learn to drive, and pass the Driving Test, by taking intensive training either locally or as a residential course in an unfamiliar locality.

Some teenagers having just reached the age of 17 wish to "pass the test" by the fastest route possible and, consequently, opt for intensive training.  This is also popular with students who wish to learn when they are on vacation.  There are also many professionals now who have very busy schedules and lifestyles or who live in large cities and have not had the time or the need to learn to drive.  All too often they have insufficient leisure time or the required discipline to learn to drive in the conventional way. Therefore, an intensive course is viewed as an attractive alternative.  An ever increasing number of potential new drivers are attracted by the possibility of learning to drive away from home (and neighbours!) and away from the pressures of everyday life.
